More daft early season pitches Yorksire bowled out for 50 at Essex. Essex make 142, then Yorkshire make 161-2 at over 5 an over! Over 350 runs and 22 wickets in one day. Cricket on speed.
Quite a achievement by Yorkshire to be bowled out for 50 by Champions Essex on day one, but win the game by 91 runs on day three
Found Surrey more of a challenge 3 new starlets under 21 did the damage as well. Future looks bright for Alec Stewart's lads

History being made over in Japan, as Georgian sumo wrestler Levan Gorgadze (who competes under the name Tochinoshin Tsuyoshi) has been storming through the Natsu basho with a 12-2 record, having initially won his first twelve bouts in the tournament which included an upset win over the yokozuna Hakuho Sho, that has all but sealed his promotion to the ōzeki rank
Yates folded big time (sadly) . Looks like Dumoulin et al were also doing too much wheel-sucking and faffing about rather than ride. Anyway, the question will be as I (and Internet land also) said (no surprises there given the parallels and the Vuelta TUE saga) .
Sadly, the issue of whether a cyclist is clean or not is one which is always present in the sport. I genuinely believe Froome is clean; I might be naive, I might be wrong, but until there's conclusive proof otherwise I'll remain of that view.
These tournaments are a surprisingly good laugh, I went to one in Poland earlier this year with some mates. I had no idea what was going on on-screen (lots of flashing lights as far as I could tell) but lots of cheap beer!
