**** the Real fans and their club

In their insane attempt to completely and utterly appease Ronaldo's ego, they have treated Bale like a muppet.

He single-handedly won Real the Final, last night, and he slipped everyone of those disrespectful, ungrateful mofos the middle finger.

I love him even more for that.

I'm going to love having him back at Spurs, his spiritual home.

Bale leaving Saints doesn't rattle me at all. We were in the Championship, and when he left he went about it in the right way.

He could have gone to Spurs in January, but stayed til the end of the season to help our promotion campaign (we ended up getting knocked out of the play offs by a truly **** Derby side, but them's the breaks).

Also it's a lot of bollocks about Spurs 'making' him as a player. He was almost sold to Birmingham because 'Arry didn't rate him.

It was only because Bale turned down the move and wanted to 'fight' for his place that he didn't end up at Brum. <ok>

Yep, he’s an honourable bloke.

... and Harry gave him his chance, which was the making of him.

You really don’t understand how this works, do you, Pix!

"...was going to..." but didn't.

The rocket that our Harry put up the young lad's arse was what he needed to push on, and the rest is history.

And you call me a plum!

I've just read that piece and it is typical hack journalism.

The only factual thing in it is what Bale said in his interview after the game. Everything else is pure speculation.

They don't even know what's in Bale's contract ffs!

It's Noddy journalism at it's best!

I read your board, all journalism is "hack" unless it says what you want to hear <laugh>

That isn't the case.

For me, I'm interested in direct-source facts, not what is "understood" to be the case.

That Sky story is nothing more than that - a work of pure fiction.

Both Sky and BBC reporting the same thing, probably protecting their source at this point in time :emoticon-0100-smile

Both "news" sources have jumped to same wild speculative conclusions based on Bale stating that he should be playing more football, and that he needs to sit down with his agent to "discuss" his future.

The fact that United and Chavs - the archetypal vulture clubs - have allegedly expressed an interest is neither here nor there.

United and Chelsea don't really come into it (though I think he would do very well at Chelsea), the thing that rules Spurs out is the money constrictions. Personally I think he would be best suited to Bayern but again the money may rule that out.

We're all assuming that Bale is simply going to go to whomever is prepared to pay him a bucket load of wages.

He didn't go to Real for the money, he went for the glory.

If he's going to come back to the Prem, the only club he's likely to consider - if glory remains his goal - is City.

But the money helps <laugh>
