I don't have an issue with a feeder club. Having it in Switzerland makes no sense whatsoever for working around the EU rules, however, both because the UK isn't going to be a part of the EU much longer, and because it's exceptionally difficult to get Swiss citizenship. As a means to created a linked system as with Watford under the Pozzo family, maybe, but that only works if the teams are all genuinely competitive, in good leagues, and the whole scheme is exceptionally well-funded and managed...otherwise, you're just Charlton, shuttling ****ty players from one ****ty team to another rather than actually buying half-decent players.

Do enlighten meOh god, you can almost tell what they are thinking.
As far as I can see, Vicenzo have a large stadium and fan base, but have slid from the league and face bankruptcy (are bankrupt), so look like a likely candidate to rise from the ashes (bit like us under Leihberr). Gao (and Lander) have decided to get into football...hence buying us. I would rather they concentrated on us to be honest....don't want them to stretch too far too soon. This may be part of their plan to get a satellite club for us, but may be entirely separate and they just want a few clubs.

There was talk that youngsters and oldsters would be sent to a satellite club. Be an interesting way of getting rid of some players we can't shift who are under contract. Somewhere hidden in the small print of the contract there will be a bit saying you may be deployed elsewhere in the company. Bit like if you work in London and get told you are going to Milton Keynes.
Italian side eh? Because there has never been any history of financial corruption and allegations of money laundering involving clubs in that country.
I don't know whether it is good or bad for Saints and after all only Saints matter, but no point in getting in the dumps about something that hasn't happened yet and we have no details about. I'm going for flowers and butterflies at the moment.

Heh "a few Euros" is probably about what it would take; Vincenza is pretty well valueless, from what I can tell. Would take a bit of cash to save it from liquidation, but as an asset it probably isn't worth much of anything. Stadium is ancient, would be small from Serie B up, and is in a bit of a state of disrepair.
