I agree chesh and in an ideal world that’s the way it would work. Unfortunately that’s not the case. Contracts are not worth the paper they are written onA few months with the under 23s and he would soon want to play.

I seem to recall we've been down this road before EireA good plan and usually works very wellyou know full well once rad smells cash he’ll have him out the door quick as a flash to the first bidder. That will then be followed by the usual spate of comments that he wasn’t any good anyway
Do the whole West coast WJ. Kerry, West cork, Donegal and the counties eire mentioned. Much better scenery than the eastYou can’t go wrong visiting counties Clare Mayo and Galway. Also roads are quiet for the most part so motorhome ideal

Couldn't have put it better myself.Once again going to nail my colours to the mast - I honestly don't believe and have never believed he is a Cellino, a Bates or a GFH here to rinse the club for his own benefit (or at least not unless we're successful). He's earning a lot, lot more from his own business than he could do buy selling Pontus. The only way he gets a serious return on his investment is by getting back to the premiership.
Looking forward to this summer - think Heckingbottom will be gone this week and we'll get some strong players in and will be heading into next season with some optimism.
(if we do start next season with Heckinbottom and no changes to the squad then even I'll reassess my opinion of him....)

We have not gotten all the Wood money yet, in 1 or 2 more years then we will have.Paid for one of Germany’s best strikers on a season loan though. What more could you expect [HASHTAG]#onlyonelasogga[/HASHTAG]

The players hold all the cards, if a player wants to leav then he will that. Not much the club can do about it.He has no say in the matter,if we say he stays,he stays.
That is trueAnd likely we won’t have fully paid
For any of
Our signings either yet. Also instalments
Easy answere to that. ''It's the silly season''But Pontus has not said he wants to leav. So dont know why this artical.
Has it occurred to you that he might be lying on a beach somewhere? He's prolly the only one of the squad who isn't if he's not. Hols booked a long time in advance. Even PH is on hols. And a signing like this needs all the faces in place for the PR photo too.still no Pearce signed contract, that reporter starting to look like a joke.

Quite true, he hasn't. But why should he require 'talks' when he returns from the WC? No-one else is having 'talks'. Contracts are all signed & sealed for years in advance. What's to talk about? But Pontus has not said he wants to leav. So dont know why this artical.
He's hooked up with the England under 23s,hasn't he ? So no hols for a while.Has it occurred to you that he might be lying on a beach somewhere? Says he with fingers, toes, arms, legs & eyes crossed!![]()
Even more reason not to be available to sign, surely? He's hooked up with the England under 23s,hasn't he ? So no hols for a while.
