Surely this should be FMMT, Friday Morning Music Thread?

Anyway, I digress.

I have been searching You Tube for an old classic, but have been unable to find it, so far. I will keep looking.

It's : 'Allams, why don't you just **** off, especially you Ehab you ****ing berk?'

It's a bit like n.s.u. Once you caught it, it's hard to shake off. And painful <laugh>

i knew a buider down bev road who had an nsu!!
car that is i did,nt know they built bikes

Saw one or two about when I lived in Hull. One was this model, though an electric blue colour. Seemed very sleek and modern at the time.

I considered buying an NSU ****el Spider once but they're expensive to run and they're expensive to buy now as well (£35k-ish)...

A shame the unfortunately named ****el engine ended up having so many problems as it was very smooth and seemed for a while to be the engine of the future. Mazda are working on an improved ****el engine.
I knew someone who had an RX8, a car I liked, but he got rid as it was extremely expensive to run and maintain, needing services after very short mileages.

Crikey, my first moped was an old NSU. That brings back memories. Bought it from a bloke down Boothferry Road, not far from Boothferry Park. Knocked him down to 18 quid as I couldn't get it started, turned out to be the coil, so had to push the ****er all the way back to Ferriby! Happy days.

On the old memories front - my old man used to have one of these buggers in the mid-50's. he'd occasionally give me a croggy down the back ten-foot - he always told me it was illegal to give anyone a lift on it on the road. Cautious he was.
