just thought i'd cheer us up mate lol
don't mind man utd either or arsenal, they both play great football, i just hope we sign a good striker before wednesday and i think it'll be bendtner, as for the 80's i miss them dearly, standing, roker park, away games with bob's travel club, cheap tickets, better atmosphere, the roker pie shop, and we were all a lot younger. I'd give my right arm for 1 more match at roker park

I said something similar to my boy the other day.
How he would have loved being with the chanters in the Fulwell End.
The whole mass of people moving and singing as one, no way could you be a miserable get in there and moan about the people shouting.![]()
Geordies,Mackems,Geordies,Mackems,Geordies,Mackems,Geordies,Mackems,Geordies,Mackems,Geordies,Mackems,

You'll never take the Fulwell!
Happy birthday mate.![]()
I feel a nostalgia thread coming on.![]()
Told this tale before.
When I was a kid I was looked after by a couple of the older skins, probably, as even then I stood my ground.
They shoved me up onto the dividing fence half way up the Fulwell and told me to start shouting "Oxford"
Being up there and having the whole of the Fulwell shouting "****!" every time I shouted "Oxford" was one of the proudest moments of my life.
Going by some of the comments of posters on here, they will be sitting shaking there heads and saying what a sad twat.
But it was pure passion in there, nothing else mattered apart from SAFC!
Most of us had miserable **** jobs or lives and Sunderland was our outlet.
