The Fekir links are very exciting. Played majority of this season as a number 10 so I would expect him to play as the advanced CM in a 3 with Keita as the B2B and a DM.

Scores goals, creative, quick, excellent dribbling and really strong mentality.

could be that we would use him in midfield 4 and 2 upfront on occasions just as we did with Coutinho .

Lovren makes clangers but he does occasionally contribute positively to the team. Lovren is better than Klavan. In an ideal world we would replace both of them.

clearly Klopp doesn't agree with you. Do expect a CB to be signed & to be VVD's partner but expect Lovren to stay unless we get a (very) surprising offer for him.

not seen much of him tbh but it would be very helpful to be able to switch from the 4-3-3 when required & at the moment difficult / impossible to see any of the MF's we have being able to do that job.

I think Lovren would be adequate cover. I don't like him being a first choice CB, but he's good enough for cover.

I think depends if you rate consistency above quality.

Lovren is a better defender than Matip & Klavan when on form but the other two perform on a consistent level.

Lovren is not a good defender. He lacks the fundamental basics to even be considered a defender. We are always on edge when he plays, he invites pressure and he is a **** magnet. I wouldn’t feel comfortable bringing him on as a sub - look at the WBA game.

Whilst I can understand where you're coming from, there has been many instances when he has really put in some good performances. Not first team quality but not the worst CB at the club. I'd let go of Klavan and bring in someone to partner VVD.

tbh klavan has been decent at times in reading balls but he is not tall enough and let's runners in behind him.

Klavan is fine for what he is. For a 4th/5th choice CB he's actually pretty good. Not many teams have a 4th/5th place CB as good imo.
