Harsh on Burton but it 'sounds' like they played for the draw after they found out Bolton were losing.

Sensible you might think, especially so late in the game, but Burton were playing a team with ten men who were also demoralised by Derby's score. It was a great opportunity to wrap it up.

Bolton, on the other hand, were losing but were losing against Nottingham Dogshite - a team who could easily fold and had zero to play for - bar the win bonus.

They had it in their own hands, but Clough's team must be gutted that they chose to stick, rather than chase a do-able win.
 
Jeff and co was great viewing with Bolton and Burton swapping places every 5 minutes , might sack my pass off and just watch that next season . Both to score bets coming in and Derby taking a bit of form into the playoffs, happy with that

wilbraham must be about 50, but saved bolton

and fulham lose their first match in 24 games to fall at the final hurdle

We could have been safe on 42 points, or even 41 if we maintained a non-too-****ty Goal Diff.

70 goals scored. What a season it could have been if numb nuts had invested in a couple of decent defenders. Beam me up scotty!

I don't think anybody likely to leave other than Bowen and the loan players were playing
did Adkins do that so there wasn't a risk of players getting injured and finding it difficult to get a new club?
