Suarez and Costa got away with worse than that, nothing will come of this.... he plays for Liverpool.
Of course it won’t! BBC report in the match doesn’t even mention the incident - focusing on ‘Salah will have to wait at least another week to set a new record for most goals scored in a Premier League season since the league was cut to 20 teams in 1995’ rather than suggesting he might have lost the chance due to a possible 3 match ban for violent conduct! Slimani of Newcastle was (rightly) hauled up on MOTD for the kick out against WBA - didn’t see the Mouser game, but I’m guessing the new Messi escaped that treatment?
Sunderland have sacked Coleman: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43941723 Can't see them getting a better manager in League One, to be honest. Strange one.
I was about to post on that subject. I don't think he's a great manager, but what chance did he have at that basket case club? As you say, who can they get that is better AND one of the main problem there with finances seems to be undeserving players on huge long term contracts so now they've added to the costs and have to pay off Coleman's contract!
Seems that Ellis Short has agreed a deal to sell them, so perhaps the new owners have someone lined up?
Why are City still playing such strong sides? Thought that they'd experiment a bit now, to be honest.
Probably because £uardiola doesn't realise that City have more than eighteen players. That would explain him having empty spaces on the bench when a couple of his first teamers aren't available...
They want records. Pep's a glory hunter. It will further his legend. Although not as much as winning the CL.
Someone referred to Sunderland as a 'basket case' of a club. If I were them I would sue for defamation - the Spammers are surely the proudest holders of that particular title!
I have no idea what Rice thought he was doing, unless his thought was the best way to stop the attack was to sidefoot a loose ball into an open goal that he's paid to stop the ball going into.
