Leicester look absolutely awful at the moment, so you'd expect a win there, at least.

You knew it was coming though.
Utd's only Plan B (not there was any sign of a Plan A).
And Arsenal were always likely to fall for that sucker punch.

Martial is the stand out sub. His pace and directness causes teams trouble.
But it's baffling why he isn't given more chance to do it from the start

At least one more name on the list is the aim.

Two more would be even better...

Firmino signed a new deal at Liverpool. Apparently he’s on £180,000 a week. Quick question, how can Liverpool pay players big money but we can’t?

Sponsorship mate, I know it's been said many times but you need to win something to get your name out there.

Cursory search on the numbers suggest the difference is
a combo of gate receipts + sponsorship + merchandising
(no detailed breakdown of the latter two for each club) .

Liverpool also decided not to spend the huge sums involved in building a new stadium (despite acquiring land for one). They chose to redevelop Anne Field.
Spurs have a huge financial commitment to a new stadium.

I know people take this piss about Liverpool and history but they have a far bigger world wide "brand" than Spurs. This means they get way more in terms of sponsorship deals in the far East and Asia for example.
Liverpool, United and Arsenal are well in advance of us in that area imo

There have been pre-requisite costs for THFC in
the prep work for the new WHL construction.

However the accounts probably show over the years since
2011 that the average annual costs of the above over that
period have been at worst 15m pa (if even as much as that) .

Just to put that into perspective, a player on 20K/week
costs the club 1m pa in wages.

Levy has made it clear that the club is expected to
operate soundly as is, and the debt burden for new WHL
will not affect the core finances for on-pitch matters
(in contrast to the excuses our neighbours made that the
Library debt servicing being the main cause for their
    on-pitch decline) .

I expect we'll hear details of Salah's ban today.

Oh hang on a minute, perhaps not as I haven't heard the incident mentioned anywhere except on social media. It's almost as if certain parties are only interested if certain players are involved.

    There's three obvious explanations
i.) Fenway Sports Group have a lot of fingers in a lot of pies, for example John Henry's said that their pie-fisting exploits see them make far more money from a Red Sox match than a Saltypool one
ii.) Several years of the Champions League places being a closed shop mean there's plenty of cash sloshing around that we don't have
iii.) The £105m they received for Coutinho in January
