Nixon also deliberately prolonged the Vietnam war by convincing the S Vietnamese to walk from the peace talks so as to get elected as a anti war candidate lol

You have no answer because you just don't understand wtf you are talking about, so call it spam, basically you have nothing to offer in debate, as shown by the ******ation in your posts <doh>

You have no coherent argument to offer, and soak yourself in denial. No intellectually defensible sources to back the gibberish you leak out yer backside <laugh> Nothing

Breivik's ideology is all too familiar: that's our big problem
    https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2012/apr/18/breiviks-ideology-is-all-too-familiar
This is where you get your thoughts, you don't have an original thought in your head, you sap <laugh>

    "alt right" "populist" "Anders Brevik"

There is not an intellectual cell in your brain. Why would there be, you don't read anything but media articles that agree with your foregone conclusions #echochamber ffs, low brow clown <ok>

nah he's not interested, he did the same for "all working class" people too, called them all racist and xenophobic, because he's got bigot bones in him that one.

he doesn't understand that its bigots who use monolithic group identities to attack whole groups of people.

he also doesn't understand that when a small group of people form together and claim to represent all members of a chosen group, is a fake community. He doesn't even open his mind up ever to the fact he might not know wtf he is talking about.

Anathema to debate is our Tobes, he's the taxi driver of debate, or in this case the van driver. Reads **** all, studies **** all, knows everything. Worse still, his thoughts come from the Guardian and independent, not his own reasoning, all he does is try, in vein, to support those conclusions he's come to, based on nothing, after the fact. Epitome of douchebag

I’ve never read that article, and the irony of you trying to belittle my opinion by claiming it was inspired by it, is obviously lost on you, given that you posted god knows how many links to try and back up ‘your’ opinion in your previous post.

As per you’ve come back with nothing but your usual ‘you know nothing’ repost, without (yet again) managing to formulate a structured and coherent argument of your own to actually counter what I said.

You’re a conspiracy theorist who’s found a new flavour of the month, and your lack of ability to actually debate and allow your opinions to be challenged, merely shows that you’re as thick as mince behind the faux intellectual persona you like to create for yourself.

Obviously there is danger in generalizations but essentially people who like to act swiftly flock to the right and people who like to think and observe before acting tend to flock to the left.

It's no coincidence that the thinkers I'm society tend to be at universities. There isn't some political conspiracy of universities to make everyone into socialists but naturally there are more lefties at universities because it's a place of thinking.

    2 points on this
First, they only recruit like minded people, this is what happens in academia today, conservatives are not welcome, especially in the US
Second, once there an echo chamber from only recruiting like minded people, it leads to extremism within that boundary.

You need an overlap in society on political views, the overlap in the center is what prevents society swinging to the extremes of either end. If there is one forced line, like the left are trying to enforce now.. it leads to some nasty **** eventually
Stalin's Soviet Union, homogeneous political ideology, and look how it went
    Hitler's Germany.. ditto
    Mao's china.
    Even Venezuela

People will always try out do each other, and if the entire apparatus is left, there are people vying to be the leftist of everyone.

It also leads to sports team like politics, which sees both left and right echo chambers completely ignoring the filth on their own side as long as they "win".

eventually what happens is though, with ideological echo chambers is, they consume themselves eventually, most often with catastrophic results. The later day Nazis were hanging Germans in the streets toward the end of the war. The soviets turned on their own people many times, constantly and China was a 10s of millions of people blood letting

We see people being denounced today, all over social media and MSM hit pieces, the court of faux moral public opinion is in full session.

Just like in Hitler's Germany, and Stalin's Russia, one accusation is enough to ruin your life, though there are no gulags, just yet anyway

What difference does a lecturers political views make when you’re studying sciences, languages or the arts ffs?

As it goes, the estimated number of US lecturers who are defined as liberal is between 50-60%, but those who could be classed as radical less than 8%.

It’s yet another bollocks argument of supposed institutional bias that’s been around since the 50’s.

Of course capitalism and right wing Govts have become a thing of the past since the 50’s.......oh wait.

These two are the exact same, both sides of the same coin. Hannity and his lunatic show was top rated by talking conspiracy theories and nonsense in a hyper partisan way.
Maddow now does the exact same thing, in a hyper partisan way, now she's top rated show in the US.

People like them are a huge part of the problem, and the corporate networks they work for

I'd mention CNN except their ratings in the US are lower than old re-runs of comedy shows
Outside of the US, the left loves their Russia mania and Trump derangement syndrome

Ok lets do some issues from medicine
    • who pays for it ?
    • who should get treatment- eg drug addicts, obesity, elderly.
    • cost effectiveness of treatment= should it even be an issue.
    • should NHS be privatised?
    • euthanasia
    • medical experiments- animal and human
But you don't think right/left wing views of those who teach medicine will make a difference to how people then go on to think about those. Really???
