It's becoming embarrassing now. It's like an obsessive ex girlfriend that won't let you go after youve smashed her back doors in 6 in a row nights....

They are an odd bunch. When they've been relegated in the past I've had a little chuckle to myself but that's it. All this stuff that's been going on since out relegation is weird. Videos of strange men in paddling pools with bottles of prosecco getting over excited because we've been **** for ages.. it all just makes me think they're far more bothered about us than I ever could be bothered about them.
Nearest and Dearest . . . . . I'm too young to remember thatI heard that!
Pardon.

Us going down is their greatest triumph for 60 years
Oh, of course I remember all of that. I vaguely recall similar things from your fans on previous occasions when we've been relegated too. Of course its bollocks, but I thought it was worth mentioning just in case it struck a nerve with one of that 5%.I think for 95%+ of the fanbase of both clubs your response is the norm and is what most vaguely rational football fans think. As regards the other 5% or less you do remember people flying planes over SJP, hanging banners off the tyne bridge, etc? Every club thinks their rivals are more bothered about them than vice versa, a 'chip on the shoulder' is the one of the best ways of arguing one is a smaller/lesser club. It's total bollocks but it's always been believed and probably always will be.
