Gary Russell Jr's younger brother won his fifth fight yesterday. His name? Gary.
Their dad's name is Gary and he named all of his five sons after himself. What a dick.

Didn't George Foreman do the same with his sons and a daughter?

    Other names are available, guys.

He has 12 kids, seven sons and five daughters. All the sons are named George and one daughter's named Georgetta.
    Better than Nigella, I guess.

For anyone that went for a piss or to the bar and missed the Khan flurry on Saturday:

Some people criticised the ref for stopping it too soon. I doubt that Lo Greco had a lot to say about it, though.

Given the day, I wonder if the latest royal baby is going to follow Foreman's trend? George II: Aristocratic Boogaloo?

Lo Greco has lost 4 of his last 8 fights over the last 5 years.
What sort of an opponent was he?

A handpicked one. He's a reasonable enough boxer, but he's miles away from the top fighters in his division.
Taking Porter the distance was respectable enough and his loss to Spence was understandable, as he took the fight very late.
He got utterly outclassed by both him and Khan though and his record's full of nobodies, other than that.
Massive step up from his normal opponents and he's not nearly good enough.

Here's his fight with Spence, if anyone wants to see him lose a little more slowly:

Does alright in the first round and then gets worked out and taken apart.
Not a complete punchbag, but never a threat.

Jesus, Lo Greco earns his fees. He must have been pissing blood after those body shots.

Some real punishment being dished out by Spence. I think that the head clashes might have pissed him off.

Why do rugby fans always bring up diving? Rugby players don't dive? Why would they? They wouldn't benefit from it.
It would be like football fans complaining about the constant handling of the ball in Rugby.

    Decent performance by Mayweather's protege:

He's clearly a bit of a twat, but Davis has a fair amount of talent.
Claimed that he was ready for Lomachenko in the post-fight interviews, though. Don't think so.

Cheating bastards are always diving in the penalty area. Ref for some reason just signals goal. Hypocrites.

Rugby players not feigning injury to gain an advantage you say? So how do they explain Tom Williams' use of fake blood capsules then?

Ronnie O'Sullivan out the World Snooker Championship.
And had some argy-bargy with his conqueror Ali Carter.
Not in Stephen Hendry's class; very talented, no doubt, but lacks the temperament of the great champions.

It was nothing. If anything Carter is a little over emotional, although anyone who knows his back story would understand. O'Sullivan was his gracious and sporting self afterwards.

I don't use the word "class" to describe Stephen Hendry, given the ****er nearly ran me over once as he stormed out of The Crucible after losing...
