you don't need to bag loads of goals to have an impact, he's causing defences problems, puts a shift and a half in and will score at some point.. as long as someone does the scoring it's fine.. at the moment Fryatt is yer man.
Agree with tigercity, McLean is working hard and providing a positive contribution to the team. He hasn't scored yet but he's getting the chances and will get one eventually. Too often people jump on a players back way too soon, he's playing in a higher league and forming a new strike partnership- it takes time.
Don't think he knew much about it, just rebound off him.
Plus he made the opening goal last night, give him a break.

I pay over 400 quid a year, EVERY YEAR. I am entitled to voice my opinion as much if not more than the armchairs. McLean has done NOTHING to impress me, and I doubt he will.

Having said that, I do disagree with you on McLean, thought he had a very good game last night in the first half when he was getting the ball, however we reverted to long ball in the second half and he struggled. Obviously his miss was appalling, but I don't think that's reason to drop him, he was under pressure at the time if I remember it correctly.

Mcleans done OK in my opinion, works hard for the team. Its a bit unrealistic to expect all new signings to turn up and be worldbeaters straight away, and it doesn't help when people don't get behind everybody, even the donkeys, they are all Tigers on the pitch at the end of the day!
