I was under the impression that Premiership away allocations were automatically limited to 3,000.
Jesus, I forgot how much the Leeds fans creamed in their skid marked y fronts whenever they get drawn against United.
Then again, who can blame them? It's the only event in their teams calendar that actually means something these days.

To be fair then that is a pretty **** argument!
At the end of the day you have 3,484 away fans because your league is **** and not so many home fans attend games. A better comparison would be when/if you get get back in the premier league.
So how can you have the best away support if clubs are restricted by law? If you come up to the Premier League this season will you no longer have the best away support in the country?
