Last 5 games fulham won 4 drawn one.
Cardiff, last 5 games, won 5.

I'm still a bit twitchy about our fortunes. We need to win 5 of 8 to be guaranteed.

But, not beaten in the league since 1st Jan with 7 wins in the last 7, 7 points clear of Fulham with them having 7 to play and us a game in hand......

    That he did.

Sure, the relationship at the end is beyond broken - even myself a massive fan of his work realises he should just be allowed to go now and it's pointless him staying the rest of this season.

If he was your manager this season, or last, bare minimum you'd be is 6th. End of.

I think given Evans is apparently putting the same in - you remove Mick you create an interesting situation -

    * Disclaimer - this isn't to state it's not possible for us to move forward minus Mick - however logical brief analysis =

... New manager will wish to bin off many of our current player...
....New manager will want own new signings - which will cost a bit....
....Evans unlikely to put £££ in........ Ahh........
....Fans want style of play change - sure, we can try with what we have .......... however cost less than others in the league trying it = matching up likely to fail.

I'm very, very concerned about where we are about to head - however, we'll see.........!?

Lotta time for Farke though, what a job he is doing. Wow. Hang onto him lads, he is doing a splendid job!

Will you leave it until the end of the season to get someone and go with what you have left until the end of the season?

Might have someone appointed tomorrow.. Might leave Terry in charge for now... or give it to the U23 coach...

What is guaranteed is that we will be left completely in the dark and trying to second guess when, how and who

Can only assume that is someone who is currently in employment based on the owner saying not to expect an appointment before the end of the season.

That at least should end any speculation of McClaren, Pardew and the like being appointed.

Or maybe he ME was aming higher but found all his candidates in jobs said, with that budget! Jog on. So he's now stuck with the desperate and unemployed. I genuinely doubt either of McClaren or Pardew would stoop so low (or take on such a tough job with minimal budget)
only option has to be an up n comer lower down the leagues who is hungry to prove himself at a higher level or foreigner for similar reasons.

    Bah!

I'm half expecting Alan Pardew to rock up at the job interview with his trusty PowerPoint presentation and bag himself another managerial job apropos of that smarmy, door-to-door salesman vibe he has going on. If anything, Milne strike me as a bloke that loves the slide transitions Pardew undoubtedly throws in throughout. Nothing like the recently-departed Mick of course, who probably aced his interview with a flip chart, Terry dutifully turning the pages.

Needless to say, our next appointment is massive and I don't really want to go through another year without beating your lot.

Pretty much what 99% of the fanbase would like. Some of our best managers throughout history have been plucked from the lower leagues and given time to build year on year on year. And one thing our owner does is give managers plenty of time.

The rumours of Darrell Clarke, Paul Hurst, Nathan Jones and Paul Tisdale are the ones I hope there is even just a crap of truth in our interest as it would show a change of approach from a 'been there, done it years ago' manager we've had under the current owner

It's fairly well established that Warnock is no good at Premier League management. Maybe Colin will get Cardiff promoted, then fancy retiring to Suffolk :emoticon-0136-giggl

Massive job for him if it happens. I wouldn't go there if I was him. "out of the frying pan...." He's been hung out to dry by the chairman at Ipswich. It's the same at Leeds, but the chairman at Leeds is not the type of person to give a manager time. Massive club, big draw for him, but he's going to have to take on so much more sh*t.

Surely WBA is the smart choice if approached?
