On double checking the first 4 pages of searches for the left leaning site are ALL positive links I stopped at 4 pages. One caveat, the site could be paying Google about half a million dollars to have their links up that high, although I do not know where this site would get such money. But the lack of negative links toward that site shows something is not right.
I don't know how much one might pay for Google's sweet touch Win it might not be that much. Equally it depends on how many links are thry generating themselves and whom is opposing
