Am I missing something with that?

    What’s it supposed to be?

Walk around the supermarket with phones linked to Alexa
Don't think they realise that their habits are being monitored.

This is a better example, it's just those talking things having a conversation with each other.

I think it's that Alexa bitch that got me thinking about this other night, some tv advert and they get it to read their kids a bedtime story , is that what happens now? Is my daughter going to get picked on because I won't let her take an iPad to nursery in a couple of years and won't let some robot whore look after her instead

It might work. Afterall, it made Marlon Brando millions from "Last Tango in Paris", plus a modicum of controversy..

I like to buy a programme before a game to see who's in the team and buy a green mail after the game to see how the other football teams did and where we are in the table, quicker than waiting for the Sunday papers, marvellous. Waggy Waggy Waggy.

Youve only got to watch the " Back in time for Tea " programmes on BBC to see just how easy and un busy lifestyles are now compared to decades ago.
It's plain laziness as apposed to busy.

I've got a phone app so i can turn on the new fandangled kettle whilst driving home, save's me seconds of time. Pity i can never remember to fill it before going out. What i really need is more tech so my kettle can fill itself.

Some parts of this may not be true.

It's part of my Integrated ****aid System ©, Haps.

If you go for the Platinum upgrade.

Opt for the basic silver level and you get the Robert Hoare doll instead.

S'ok, but you can't operate it remotely via a smart phone.

I've got one, it's great. It cooks, it cleans and satisfies my male urges.

It does nag at times but...

Modern ways of living - I have a real love/hate relationship with it.

I like being able to watch an entire series at once - it's no different from buying a series on DVD or VHS back in the day. What I really hate are the tabloids spoiling a series by splashing plotlines and spoilers all over the place before a series is even released!

However, I want to watch TV series and films on a big screen with proper surround sound. Not some pissy little 6inch mobile phone screen or with a mere soundbar. And for the same reason I'm still far more a fan of optical disc than streaming. Far better quality and I actually own the product rather than being at the mercy of streaming providers.

Having the option of doing stuff online rather than ringing call centres is brilliant!

I hate Facebook!! Why is everything linked to it in some way? Why is it taking over the world? It's bad enough some people are willing to communicate only via it and post every minute detail of their boring lives on it. But then every ****ing website out there invites me to 'sign in with Facebook'. NO - **** OFF!

I hate everyone being glued to their mobile phones 24x7. Having to dodge them in the street, or not run them over as they're gormlessly gorping at their phones. Easy pickings for muggers given how unaware they are of their surroundings.

    I’m a Luddite

This site is the only technology I use, and therefore the only place I get my news from

‘Warercooler’ conversations at work are a bit weird, but as long as I turn the conversations round from politics to recent films or who has just died it works out ok
