I'd imagine that Pav would go wide, with Smyth hanging in behind Washington, with Smith and Eze to come on 2nd half?

I think that is the plan.

The team selection could have Monday’s game against Norwich in mind. Possibly they (Eze and Smith) will be in the starting eleven for that match.

Maybe he's thinking of Monday re Luongo. He played 90 + minutes on Tuesday I think it was. About MOM according to some reports.
