We really should be winning let alone level. If we lose one of our usual midfield and play Cousins regularly next season we’ll struggle. Terrible compared to Luongo. Very little up front but every time we’ve got near the box we’ve had a chance. Smithies suspect for the goal I thought but had nothing to do otherwise.
Possession 35/65 Shots 5/1 - 9/0 Corners 2 - 4 Fouls 7 - 9 So we're leading in a few catagories....... C'mon U R's.......
Haven't seen Cousins doing much, and Washington''s first touch is mainly bad. Hope to see them replaced before the half was over but surely start 2nd half. Freeman has been great last part of the half.
Smithies got his hand to the ball but could not save it. I don’t think he was at fault as it was a great shot. Bidwell lost the ball and could not recover despite trying.
Posted at18:21 HT: Reading 1-0 QPR I'm sure Reading will be happy under a new manager with the start they made, but QPR do look dangerous. When QPR counter-attack, they come forward in numbers. After the first 25 minutes, Reading have only counter-attacked a couple of times with an isolated Mo Barrow up front. Mick GoodingFormer Reading player/manager on BBC Radio Berkshire
Absolutely true. But shots on goal: Fakes: 1 R’s: 0 So despite the possession we are not really threatening enough. Despite this, we did have chances to be at least level. But we need to be more clinical.
