Just watched his interview from Ted Kravitz before Spa started (yesterday). Ted: "Have McLaren just won the last two races because it was cold and wet, is that the reason?" Seb: "No, they've won because they've finished ahead of all the others, did a better job than the rest..." I found this really funny, thats usually what winning is, when you finish ahead of the rest. You dont get someone winning a race because there were two cars finishing ahead of them!!! He really is quite a funny guy!
Yeah i laughed when i heard that too, i think he just didnt hear the question properly...maybe...i hope so
Vettel can't be funny, he is German which means he is very serious, likes things organised and efficient, and enjoys a lot of large Bratwürste.
So hang on, it's okay for you to insult germans, but when i call all italians cheats, everyone gets offended? Bunch of hypocrites, the lot of you. And i'm entitled to insult italians, considering i am part italian. (great grandma was italian)
Vettel is a funny guy. It has nothing to do with his nationality. I think Cowboy's first reaction above is unfortunately a bit strong but perhaps he has a point.
We seem to have members who are getting their knickers (or lederhosen) in a twist over almost nothing. Fans like drivers for their nationality, their skills, their dedication in the face of adversity, their team, their humour etc etc. Vettel can be a funny guy. Can we leave it at that?
It would also be dull if we all had the same opinion, though ironically I have the same opinion as you here
That it would... but for the sake of interest I should take a contrary position and say, no it wouldn't!
germans are boring, efficient, ordered is a mythical stereotype, Italians beig cheats and thieves is an undistputed fact.
The Welsh are sheepshaggers, the Scots wear skirts, the Irish are thick, the English are the result of rape and pillage. The Scandinavians are dull, the Belgians have no imagination, the French are peasants..... Can we stop the nationalistic insults now?
