    Quiet, innit?

Just had a lovely chinese from China Wok. Always good.

They (like all similar outlets) give you free prawn crackers.

I hate them. Anyone on here like them?

I tell them not to send them with the House Special Curry, they still send them and the full bag ends up in the bin.

My daughters came round for tea and we had Indian, from Eatern Promise in Anstruther - 10/10.

We got free poppadoms - which was a nice touch.

Tucking into the red wine now - watch out for some extra-barbed comments to our scummy pals from NE1.

I like them okay but a lot of the time you get you too many and it feels like a waste. Next day when they go soggy they're unpleasent.

They are decent, dissolvable spoons I suppose.

But they are so tasteless, I'd rather have a real spoon.

A few years back I was doing a house on the outskirts of Bradford, took 4 lads with me to do the work and we were just crashing out in the house in sleeping bags.
Took a locals recommendation for the best Indians, turns out it wasn't the biggest or flashest place but the food was ****ing lush. We were there 4 days and every meal was eaten there.

Prawn crackers are like quavers - dont like them - loke eating dry sponges. Poppadoms OK but prefer naans and chapatis (nowt to do with a certain nufc fan) - especially the ones as big as table cloths you get in Birmingham.

All this talk of curry has got me thinking about what is the best curry house in the north east - opinions?

I don't mind them to be honest and usually dip them in the curry sauce when I eat them...
