I think we are all getting a bit ahead of ourselves. Point one the Australians haven't taken over us yet. Point two there is a British Consortium, who according to David White, have just started Due Diligence. This is Richard Murray's preferred bid. Even if the Australian Consortium take us over there is no guarantee that they will appoint Harry Kewell.

Absolutely. And anyway, the Upper North will support whoever gets the gig within reason, and that's what counts.

Read a few things on the Charlton Facebook page saying takeover going through tomorrow Kewell appointed Thursday, (lose Friday), feels weird saying it but I'd actually rather the takeover goes through at the end of the season after Bowyer has taken us up

This takeover is still quite a mystery to a lot of people in football. My boss (represents two players on our books) is none the wiser, but is at Wembley tonight for Chris Smalling and said he’ll ask around. Think my probation review will be a lot of questions as to my focus on our proposed takeover <laugh>.

From my media background, a lot of the stories published look like it’s coming from a single source. If you look back at Cawleys interviews last week, he somewhat removes himself from any direct knowledge. Makes it clear he doesn’t have the “inside” on a deal.

Timeframe - if we don’t have a clear indication by tomorrow midday, then I couldn’t see it going through Thursday/Friday. There are too many mitigating circumstances with individuals involvement around the bank holiday, as for a takeover there would be financial partners from buyers/sellers, lawers for both parties, as well as representatives on top of the two signees to complete such a move. This is talking from experience being witness to a transfer, a takeover I imagine is a much bigger, and complex deal (captain obvious).
