Denis Smith. The G-Force. Just under 30k for Northampton at Roker Park. Wasn't all bad, but I really don't want to go there again. How many remember it? Home defeat to Chester was as bad as it gets for me, as I grew up there and had a season ticket at Sealand Road back in the day. ****...

Yeh players like tommy lynch to look forward too

I wasn’t actually alive during the stint in division three, my dad used to go still though with his brother, he says he doubts as many people will support the club through it this time though.

The reason for that though is although the players were s hite then they tried their hardest now the kunts couldn't give a toss the rich stinking f ucking bastards.

I was there when we were relegated in the playoff against Gillingham. We lost 3 2 away and won 4 3 at home making it 7 all on aggragate. I think we are the only team to ever get relegated on away goals.
I was at that game, and left thinking we had survived,<doh>, even so it was not too bad as the team bounced straight back up, it wont be a given this time round I fear, and attendances might be embarrassing in comparison to our neighbours up the road. Dark days indeed.

Was working in Bristol at that time. Enjoyed the Ashton Gate game when we beat City 6 - 1
I don't think it was that season but I might be wrong.
I do remember going to Brentford, Aldershot, Fulham, Southend, Brighton some great goals from Marco and Gatesy in the days when we could actually win games.

I can't remember the year off hand, but we could have benefitted from away goals in the promotion playoff against Palace. We lost away 2-3 but won at home 2-1 but they' d scrapped the away goal rule by then. We then lost on penalties. One of those occasions where I just knew it was going to happen to us, and should have got a correct score bet on
