Silva will leave you at the drop of a hat...shady character...his heart won't be in the battle...you don't want him.
I'd go for that bloke at Derby, the one Birmingham sacked.
Based of course on one single incident in his career.

Talked to Potter as wellPretty reliable, yes. Not confirmed as yet though. Still some bits to iron out.
Well we have maybe got him about 2 years after we maybe should have!
Some good points here.
I think that the next appointment is likely to be short term. I do not see the board coming out of this unscathed and therefore would not be surprised if the likes of Reed get cleared out too with a new board being given the opportunity to make permanent appointment in the summer. This is unless they have targeted the next replacement which might explain the delay in sacking Pellegrino because of the time negotiating with the new manager. For me, the issue of managerial appointments, player recruitment, the lack of success with the academy and the inability to retain playing staff spells out that there also needs to be a clear out at a higher level. I can't see the Chinese sticking with Reed and Kreuger.
I think that the next appointment will be less risky and we are likely to get someone with a decent track record as opposed to a manager with purported potential. However, I still see this something that will happen in the summer if we stay up.
I’d be surprised if both Reed and Kreuger went. Surely one of them would blame he other - a case of the one with most Teflon stays??

Not sure I agree with this? I've always thought that we basically have a very good squad and what is needed is a manager that can motivate and inspire the players and give them back the belief.
We all felt at the start f the season that with a few additions that a top 6 or 7th place was achievable.
Whoever appointed him should go too. He did his best but was never a good fit. Saints now have a reputation for sacking managers as well as appointing the wrong person in the first place. Black box more like black hole!

It didn’t help by the fact Stuart Hray was appointed manager and think only won 1 game for rest of season ,could be wrong on number but it wasn’t many, I was referring more to fans attitude about Hoddle return and because of fans reaction it didn’t happen ,wonder what happened after that decision
Nah, as sorry as I feel for MP getting sacked I also feel that he just didn't do a good job (obviously!) whereas I really didn't feel that Claude deserved the sack. And Helen comes back just in time to organise another leaving card![]()
That's all it takes.
He hadn't been at Watford long, Everton are sniffing around and he forgets who is paying his wages. Southampton are similar to Watford....if he does well..it'll be the same cycle repeating itself. If he fails, your down and he will **** off anyway due to his illusions of grandeur...I don't believe he's the right mentality for what task lies ahead for your club
