I do not see the board coming out of this unscathed and therefore would not be surprised if the likes of Reed get cleared out too with a new board being given the opportunity to make permanent appointment in the summer. I’d be surprised if both Reed and Kreuger went. Surely one of them would blame he other - a case of the one with most Teflon stays??

Well we certainly seem to be very good at loosing mangers - either they are tempted elsewhere to another club, or we sack them. That must be the enticer "Join Southampton we will make or break you"

That's all it takes.

He hadn't been at Watford long, Everton are sniffing around and he forgets who is paying his wages. Southampton are similar to Watford....if he does well..it'll be the same cycle repeating itself. If he fails, your down and he will **** off anyway due to his illusions of grandeur...I don't believe he's the right mentality for what task lies ahead for your club

He's exactly the type of manager we need for the last 8 games imo, the complete opposite in style to Pellegrino, someone who will attack teams and give us a decent chance of survival.

I’m fully aware of the history. You seem to know the person very well though? Impressive.

He’s a young manager. He has something to prove. He might have realised he made a mistake. He’s better than Pellegrino. He’s a realistic choice.

That’s good enough for me.

Only problem is if Reed goes, his network of spies go aswell
