It didn’t help by the fact Stuart Hray was appointed manager and think only won 1 game for rest of season ,could be wrong on number but it wasn’t many, I was referring more to fans attitude about Hoddle return and because of fans reaction it didn’t happen ,wonder what happened after that decision
I rarely think sacking the manager is the best solution, however it is a long time since I have felt so dejected and deflated about a performance compared to the Newcastle game. The board are the source of the problems and we have undemined ourselves by weakening our defence and not getting in the right attacking players but we had to change. Whoever comes in has to hit the ground running!
Personally, think the players should feel ashamed of themselves. We can, and probably should, blame the board, but as said before, there could of been many reasons for delay in sacking. Don’t get me wrong I’m glad he’s gone, but he’s done nothing but carry himself with the utmost dignity and respect for other people, even his own players. Best of luck Mauricio, it didn’t work out and I’m sorry. Best possible replacement for me is Strachan, but whoever it is needs to be done by Weds
Not sure I agree with this? I've always thought that we basically have a very good squad and what is needed is a manager that can motivate and inspire the players and give them back the belief. We all felt at the start f the season that with a few additions that a top 6 or 7th place was achievable.
GET IN!! The worst manager in our history? What a truly terrible coach he was, I’d say he should go into punditry but he’d be useless at that too as he’s too boring and doesn’t understand football. Slightly worried that we haven’t lined anyone up, seems like an awful idea given the circumstances. However, I truly believe we can’t get any worse, so this has to be a postive.
Pretty reliable, yes. Not confirmed as yet though. Still some bits to iron out. Well we have maybe got him about 2 years after we maybe should have!
I was just thinking the same! If they hadn’t faffed around after Koeman ****ed off we could have appointed him then!
Silva will leave you at the drop of a hat...shady character...his heart won't be in the battle...you don't want him. I'd go for that bloke at Derby, the one Birmingham sacked.
Well, quite. I’d say going by what my source just said it’s 70% Silva. Will let you know more when I do.
