While you all keep slating Lovren for being bullied by a bigger, stronger, faster man you should also be asking where the future captain with leadership skills (VvD) was. Who was he marking that was so important that he left Lovren out to dry?
I think the criticism of Lovren is a bit ott, but then he is everyone's favourite whipping boy atm. Lucky was too strong for him and he needed help, but your dig at VvD is pointless. Why would they both be on the same man and just leave gaps elsewhere?
They need to keep their shape. A midfielder - Can or Milner maybe - should have been taking notice of how bad a time Lovren was having and been helping him out.
