Ryan Dickson on Twitter...

http://twitter.com/#!/Ryandickson23

This could just be wild speculation :emoticon-0103-cool: but 'We will have to see what happens' sounds a bit ominous...

If he is on his way, is this a good thing, given the amount of cover we have at the LB position? Or should we do everything to hang on to the player, considering he can play in midfield as well?

I suspect he's on his way to MK Dons if the Sam Baldock deal happens - it's all speculation at this stage though isn't it, so none of us know anything really!

Not surprised, he was a Pardew signing, so Adkins view on him was clearly different to his predecessor.

He should probably change his name to Dan to have a chance of staying the squad (Dan Dickson sounds like a World War 1 fighter pilot)

But I think he's done a good job for us when he played, but to be honest, he probably is best suited to League 1 football. If he goes, he goes with my best wishes and I'm sure most Saints fans.

He cost us the United game. To hell with him <laugh>

Would be a shame to see him go, but at the same time not a surprise.

I have never forgiven him for this, fickle I know but it was his bloody fault! <laugh>

Weird isn't it, for some reason that mistake really does stick in your mind even though there's a lot more things he did pretty well before and after that match!

mistakes always tend to live in the memory longer than good things - especially if they cost us games

I was hoping that it would be Fox and Dickson fighting it out for the left back position but as soon as Harding signed a new three year contract, I knew this wasn't going to be the case.

I think it's a shame as I think he's a far better defender than Harding but sometimes his passing lets him down, so maybe that's why Adkins may get rid of him.

He's definitely a Championship standard left back IMO.

I have heard his destination is Rochdale. Just heard through what other people are syaing.

Shame as I like Dickson, like Richardson he likes to get forward. Only downside he can become out of postion a lot.

I was pretty disappointed with the signing of Fox, but now that it's happened I do think Dickson is third best and might be better off somewhere else. Not sure why people on here don't rate Harding higher. In my opinion he's the best of the three.

If this was the case, why does everyone still love Harding so much? The amount of points he's cost us in two years is incredible - he's just lucky that we're brilliant going forward. I'll be gutted to see Dicko go, but I think it's inevitable now. Fox should be first choice left back, he's better than Harding and Dickson put together, plus he has Prem experience.

I prefer Harding but am point blank refusing to go into that debate again! Its far to stressful <laugh>

Harding has been a big part of Saints' success over the last 2 and a bit years. He's an important squad player on and off the field so I think it would be harsh to just drop him right now in favour of the newbie, Danny Fox.

I think Harding is good at going forward and I like his energy but I'm not deluded enough to believe he is not error prone defensively because he is. I think Dickson is better defensively but he can give the ball away a bit too much which doesn't go down well with Adkins' "keep the ball" philosophy. I've heard good things about Fox and with Adkins spending £1.8m on him, I think he sees him as eventually the first team LB. Having said that though, I expect Harding to keep his place for a bit longer.

probably until we get to the prem.
