Hello peeps.

Just reading a Blackburn article on 606 and saw a link to this place and thought I'd pop over to see what the score is. Never been much of a poster over there as I find all too often that it descends into juvenile banter.

Not that I'm against juvenile banter - I'll make crass jokes with the best of them - but unreasoned banter along the lines of "my club is great, yours is ****" really gets my goat.

Should I clear off now or am I in the right place.

We're hoping that WUMs will try and stick to General Chat and save the Football boards for proper football talk. You know there will still be some fannypads who won't be able to stop themselves posting that ****e.

Surely the fact that you can say what you want on here (within reason obviously) will give most people the idea that they don't need to WUM. Just rant instead. It's what I do on here.

Us long-time posters on here aren't used to all the people coming on here and being genuine. Ususally it's one of Pope's alter-egos. So we're naturally distrusting of new people and ways. Like that village on the Brazilian/Peruvian border where they still haven't had contact with the modern world.
