I was unfortunately out and missed the entire game. It appears that we fell asleep or got complacent for a few minutes and paid for it against a vastly more experienced European side. I’m obviously disappointed, but it’s a hardly reflects any great shame on us to very narrowly lose to a side that’s been in two of the last three CL finals.
People were suggesting they are an aging side after you stuck a couple on them away but they showed last night that they are very composed and have a good balance. They are also masters of the in game mind ****, the filthy bastard's get in your head.
This is true, Spuds beat RM when it didn’t really matter but no one wants to draw them in the business end as PSG would confirm. It’s all about experience.
I imagine the Juve team, management and fans all look at Alli and think he's terrible. "He should come to Italy and learn the dark arts. The boy is terrible no technique in the dive, no disguise, no art."
I'd love Madrid now, I want a big team. We've had it pretty easy so far so time to hunt big game even if we do get bitten.
Based on what I’ve seen I’d say you would definitely get bitten but this is the best team potentially you’ve had since 1989.
Stop being reasonable. You got rolled out like a ball of pizza dough, and smothered in putanesca sauce, by a bunch of decrepit waiters.
It's knock out, anything can happen. No point hiding from the big teams They'd probably do us but you never know, we're unpredictable.
Sure, basically it’s a Cup game. Over one game I’d give you a 45/55% chance over two games...sorry mate.
I said the same re Barca. We missed our chance at home so it’s very much an uphill battle now but it’s now a one off game.
