I know many of us have posted different circumstances regarding Hull Royal and other Hull Hospitals before. Today, my mum was taken ill and I rushed back to her house with paramedics and an ambulance there. She was taken in and will stay overnight, thankfully she's fine, she's had a heart problem going back many years which has been controlled medicinally. While I was with her, I went to see my brother in law who unfortunately had a stroke immediately after a major cancer surgery leaving him in a not brilliant way with many battles ahead.
I write this not for people to say I hope they're ok, but to say, thank you, to some amazing, wonderful people, who smile, are courteous, (from nurses to porters, paramedics to doctors, receptionists to tea ladies) who should - some of them - be on stage and just brilliant at their jobs. We are the luckiest people to have this health service and I am in awe of their resolve.
