That was absolute gash particularly the first half, what got me the most was that going forward they were busting a gut whereas we were just trotting along with no urgency at all - very frustrating!

Not sure what was up with MacDonald but he was absolutely blowing in the first five minutes. Completely exhausted. Adkins asked Mazuch to warm up after 10 mins and didn't do much about it.

Taking Irvine off was criminal. He was probably the pick of a bad bunch.
Irvine has nowhere near the quality on the ball required to play as a No.10.
I'm a big fan, but he was a waste of a shirt in that game and were the alternative not a woefully unconfident Stewart, I think he'd have been hooked a lot sooner.
He should have played in cenner mid where's he's been playing well. Gets stuck in.
That dribble down the touchline was excellent.
Bizarre to play henriksen in cm when he's supposedly a number ten.

“I need to get to the bottom of it. We were a disgrace in the first half.

“The early goal affected the whole team and they were mentally weak. You’ve got to be able to deal with that. The first half was nowhere near the levels that are expected of these players. Nowhere near good enough.

“We’re in a relegation fight and we’re in a scrap, so you’ve got to deal with it and respond. I’m really annoyed. I’m trying to keep calm but that was nowhere near good enough. Mentally we looked like a bag of nerves. We can’t do that.”
Deadline day signing Angus MacDonald was one of the players to feel Adkins’ wrath after he was replaced at half-time.

“I should have taken him off in the first minute,” replied the City head coach. “He was shocking in the first half. That was an area we knew we had to deal with and we didn’t do. Angus MacDonald is very good at heading the football but he wasn’t in the first half.”

I think that's fair enough personally.

He clearly has something as he scored 1 in 4 for a very poor Burton side.
I agree, there's a player in there. Just seems to panic sometimes, lacking confidence no doubt. Being in a **** team doesn't help.

Well just got back home. What a load of crap that was. Adkins got it wrong, we should be playing two up front and give the opposition something to worry about instead of trying to keep it tight. What a ****ing joke that game plan was. Then in his post match interview he says we will play a different way against Norwich. Who the **** does he think he has at his disposal. Most of this lot aren't up to championship level. Please just get a square peg in a square hole, play two up front and if we go down at least we gave it a try. Watching this is ****e.

I wouldn't say Aina doesn't give a ****. I thought he's one who keeps going, it doesn't come off but he keeps having a go. He's a young kid who shouldn't be playing a full season for us.

dogshit - ****s up over and over again - I couldn't even begin to guess what Chelsea saw in him - another Cameron Stewart

Well waking up to read all these comments and reports is becoming depressing. It seems to me that 6 of the players starting tonight won't be at the club after the end of this season. They don't give a **** anymore, and it seems they do not play for Adkins either, as he probably bores the life out of them like he does me.

Only the ineptitude of others will keep us up this season, the worry is that we have to play Birmingham/Burton/Wendies/DQPR, who are round us, so losses against these teams, bearing in mind we have Wolves/Villa/Cardiff to play which will result in Nil points, we are in a perilous position .

Exactly ideal position for him, McDonald, to smash the player on the touch
line and let him know. Fannies out of it as they all did down the touchline.

Then straight after Clark his a ball straight into touch!!!! **** me that was embarrassing.
Someone said on here teams ar targeting him! I thought nah just general, pressing. But watching tonight I think definitely, they race at him and he panics and gives the ball away.
Dawson was **** too.

One up front, and a midget at that, at home is a disgrace. They played 4-4- ****ing 2. Simple innit. Big men who hold it up and bring players into the game they broke at speed.
We have it midfield it goes back to Dawson who passes it back to Larsson who passes it to Aina who passes it back to Larsson who passes it to Dawson who launches it. Meanwhile theyre all back in position and Dicko gets outmuscled and they get the ball. ****.
I said Dicko was **** earlier onin the season, then we played it into the channels against less physical teams and he looked ok. Physical teams and they squeeze us and we launch it meaning he's next to useless.
That was me who said Clark gets targeted, and it's clear to see why, gives his all but he's not a lb or a championship player
