He actually said he now feels he's got a manager that has 100% faith in him. Which is either a massive compliment to Klopp's man management skills or a massive dig at Wenger. I'd say a mix of both.

I'd accept your point about Salah, but when there's a pattern of Chelsea leaving their best young players go and not giving them a chance (Salah, De Bruyne, Lukaku etc.) then I feel the argument becomes really weak.

Did you really use Lukaku?

Chelsea were dire at City yesterday and parked the bus, they deserved to be criticised and we're by many including the failed manager Gary Neville, Conte was obviously pissed off to get slated and responded.
Could Neville leave it at that?, nah, he used tonight to rip into Chelsea again, fair enough?
Not really when you consider that he hasn't said a bad word about Utd after their piss poor performances, he always puts it down to "transition" or "needing to sign another midfielder to compliment Poobag", I hope Conte responds by putting the toe rag in his place by mentioning his failure as England Coach under Hodgson and his epic failure in Spain.
In contrast Carragher calls it like it is as far as LFC are concerned.

Are we that desperate that we have to resort to that kind of offensive remark? Would we be happy if any of our players were gratuitously called a bag of ****? Banter is one thing but I don’t think personally that we need to sink to that level...<doh>

I agree there is no need to use such childish insults, especially when the player in question is having to carry off such a bad haircut.

Spot on. There is taking the Mickey, about his hair, or comparison with Carlton all fair game but I would draw the line to a personal attack. That It is supposed to be a funny isn’t really an excuse...

More negativity to avoid praising the work Klopp has done with Chamberlain.<laugh>

As for Salah's time at Chelsea, they didn't play a style of football that suited his game, LFC do and evidence is there every time he plays for us.
I can’t say that I’ve seen much change in chamberlain tbh, he still looks the same player he was at Arsenal to me, albeit he’s now playing in his supposed ‘best’ position.

Salah has been magnificent this season, we’ll see whether he can maintain that level in the longer term.

I agree to a point with Chamberlain, he has improved compared to the start he had with us and has had one or two very good performances but at times he does go missing in games and I'd like to see more consistancy before declaring him some kind of success.

I agree when he is on top of his game he is worth his place in midfield, but the consistency is not there yet. Hopefully the more playing time he gets there the better he will become.

There are signs that he could be a very good player for us but he needs to knuckle down and concentrate on his game and keep away from the media.

TBH I agree on the ox.

he's handing in some good displays but he's also not tracked back and left RB slot wide open as well.

There are some issues he needs to address there to be a real CM or box to box midfielder. you actually have to get back to your own box.

So no [HASHTAG]#incredibledifference[/HASHTAG] in midfield?

TBF probably for the best

After years of being called a "murderer", told i "look in the dustbin for something to eat", that I should be "thrown on a bonfire" etc I'm sure Mr Poobag would see the funny side of my light hearted comment by comparison considering he's been playing **** for most of his time at OT.
If my utterances are offensive to you Carl simply don't read them because I couldn't give a flying **** tbh, cheers.<ale>

I hear that Southgate is investigating other players with English/Scottish connections in the hope the Sweaty Socks would take Ox

****? He’s got a 1 in 2 assist record this season, who are you comparing him to like?

And you think that stat makes him the hyped up so called world class midfielder the press would have us believe?
Any stats on his games to goals ratio?, maybe his total shots on and off target, distance covered during matches hes been involved in?

He's had a few standout games for them over a season and a half but he's hardly lived up to the "world class" status bestowed on him by the English football press and media.
