again he punched it down through pen area totally out of control and frankly while he got unlucky wanyama caught it perfectly he got lucky it didnt fall to someone else.
the point it the same as for any clearing header. never down. always high and wide if you can.
First priority for a keeper is to save it. He did that very well.
Second priority is to remove possible danger, preferably by catching it. Catching wasn't a option, clearing wasn't exactly easy either.
This is a clear case of kicking a man whilst he's down!
Karius has had a decent couple of games making a few good saves. But I'd expect him to be capable of that at the very least.
What's missing for me is his distribution. We haven't had a keeper who can distribute properly since Reina imo. So a keeper is a top priority and I don't believe that Klopp blowing smoke up his arse will make one bit of difference....he has to do that.

Wouldn't that require a hint of positivity from Mourinho ?

West Brom were negative and they scored 3, Everton were negative and they scored, so I would say a good utd side (not their best but not their worst) will have a shot. It will be a tight game Jose will make it so. If we have a bad day it could be a thumping, if we have a good day we could dish a thumping.

I judge more by bread and butter issues - Spurs' first equaliser, whilst not exactly a tap-in, still wouldn't have happened had he caught a reasonably tame, chest-high cross.

Wenger to EFC is not a bad shout, after all the same person owns a large chunk of one club and owns the other outright.
