And once again the Allams do what they're good at dividing and conquering the support.

Can the usual protagonists step back from the predictable petty point scoring squabbles? While you do that the club is being raped of it's most experienced players by the Allams.

They fob off the supporters by not attending an important meeting and fob us off with some recently appointed minion. And give it all the bollocks about concessions, badge, name change, stationary changes and the rest. ****ing Japan fixed infrastructure issues within 6 days of an earthquake and these two devious twats say some of the things will take a month / until the new season etc.

**** them, keep protesting. Bring back askehab posters.

Love or hate the players, whether they're good bad or indifferent, they formed a team which managed Premier League football more than once, an FA Cup Final and a brief flirtation with Europe. All long since destroyed by the two petty twats.

    ALLAMS OUT !!!

This has been confusing me for a while.

I don’t know if it’s FACT, but most of us I think are of the opinion that the Allams want out with the maximum amount of cash they can get.

Whilst there’s a few bits of property, we don’t own our stadium, so there isn’t a massive value there and the most obvious assets they have to sell to a prospective buyer are:
1 - excuse the Americanism, but ‘the franchise’ I guess you’d call it - i.e. a position in the football league
    2 - the players

Allowing the players’ contracts to run down to nowt and allowing them to walk seems reckless when it literally costs the club nothing to renew. If the issue is legacy big wages in our now reduced circumstances then when any player is reaching the end of their contract they could offer him a new contract on a reduced rate. The player could accept, or not, but not even offering them a contract and losing a player for nothing devalues their asset, so why on earth do they keep on doing it?

I think it’s because they are stupid and driven by the need to settle scores.

Either that or they have no intention of selling and are clearing the decks.

I don’t particularly rate their intellectual prowess, but for me they just can’t be as stupid as they sometimes appear. The score settling could be it, but I would have thought greed would trump it.

    Leaving, terrifyingly, your second option...

And yet they still don’t care. It’s ridiculously sad really. Bruce said he got on fine with Assem - it was his son that was the problem. If Assem wasn’t ill at the time, I think he’d have still backed Bruce with signings the summer he left. Ehab had other ideas and pushed him out the door.

a bit off topic but can I ask what posters think the allams really will do? I don't want to start another thread but seeing as though its been brushed upon the last few comments what actually will they do to "our" club?
whats worst case scenario? could they actually put us out of business?

And do you think we are worse off now than when Duffman left?

    Was just thinking about that.

They really are shaving everything to the bone, all the players with any value will be gone, all the willing volunteers and part time staff sacked off. They will have made a profit during their ownership of City but when they finally walk away (I think they will do that rather than sell) we will be a loss making club. Now here is where i am unsure what will happen, can they say they can't sustain the losses and put us into voluntary administration? Could they not pay a tax bill and get a winding up order? or something similar i haven't thought of.

The SMC is being loaded with debt, i can see them handing it back to the HCC along with the stadium in a state of disrepair. Somehow the council will have to repay the Allams or forever be in their debt and pick up the cost of bring the stadium up to standard.

As for the sale i can't see a buyer at any price, even if the old **** keeps his word for once and try's to give it away because we will be so far from a viable business there will be so many more attractive options.

Sorry to be so negative but the actions of the Allams not their words have made me think this way.

They could default on the lease and leave the council to maintain the stadium, but they couldn’t make the Council repay their debt, if they wind up the SMC, the debt will just be written off.

For this goal ~ sat in south stand with my son (days of concessions) behind the goal as it went in ,
Sons first game & then totally hooked ~ now lives, breathes & ask many questions about football whilst being an encyclopedia of stats & FIFA18
the next 2 games were Wembley, I tried to explain to him this was not normal for city ...

Meyler divides opinions, make up the stats for your pointless arguments ~ thanks Dave for your effort & loyalty (& that goal)

Didn’t dickead say currently the clubs asking price is £50m but changes month per month and with transfer instalments from maguire rtc still to be recieved will be reduced further, add in the final £33m parachute payment and the £50m is vastly reduced

I think we could see them take the final parachute/transfer payments let every player who’s contract is expiring walk, do zero recruitment work (can sense Adkins getting worried now)
then walk saying here’s your club back

Ehab refused to say what the asking price is, but I happen to know it’s considerably more than £50m.

It's theirs forever then, no way on earth is Hull City worth more than 50 million.

This summer it maybe is, with the parachute payment you’re essentially getting the club for very little. Next summer it’ll be worth about £5m.
