IMHO they have done a stunning job of the re-enforcing . Love parking out and walking in above the concrete looking down at people walking dogs etc in the . My mum fell off the Cob in the early 1950's , she was training with the WRAF , fell off and got picked up by a rescue boat . True story

Swanage is a cracking place. Spent many a day down the beach there as a kid, as well as far too much pocket money in the arcade.

I think the reason it is still special , is you don't drive through it En-route . You go to Swanage to go to Swanage if that makes sense .
Me & Mrs J have a Brass Plaque on the Pier
Got the Waverley to Weymouth from there as well .
Hants & Dorset are fantastic IMHO .
**** me @brb will be over the moon his monster has now added 4 pages of ****ing country file to it's vast array of subjects![]()

Swanage was always a once-twice a year treat during the summer holidays. As you say a lot of the places that way are destinations rather than drive through routes.
Do they still run the Waverley or is it done with?

No it's the one that says
" Next time , Kick the Cat & **** Me " .....

Waiting for them to start about spring flowers on the south coast. ****s.
I know you're having a pop, Commie, but it has to be said that there's nothing quite like Swanage in bloom.
The daffodils will be out soon.
Do you take groupies back to your 'office'?
