Snowing again in St Ives and the beach was covered over yesterday. Covered in ice from the wind and cars abandoned all over the place. No one can get up the hills ! Everywhere is shut ! Severe pastie shortage is threatening the town.

I saw Truro on BBC breakfast News and they were all in a lather about the snow, then it cut to pictures of literally about a 2mm dusting and you could even see green through the grass.

    Wtf?!?

I can barely see my garden furniture.

It’s shocking here mate. They’re havent seen weather like this since 63. I have changed into my winter t shirt. Literally cars left all over the place at the road side. The place is that hilly with cobbles that even the thinnest layers of ice make it like the Winter Olympics. That many people fell over yesterday I nearly died laughing.

Yeah but at least they look nice (I assume) and made your house look more aesthetically pleasing. Nobody ever nodded approvingly at a new boiler or said how much better the new guttering looks.

FB_IMG_1507587516167.jpg My dog thinks we are having a heatwave . ITS about -4° here in Filey.

It was minus -35° when found in the snow in Brasov , Romania and it's minus -25 ° there today

We've just taken on another Rommie. Found at the side of the road with 8 litter mates. Only 3 survived. She arrived last week, got out just in time by the look of the weather over there.

Did you get your soffits and fascia boards done as well?

I had mine done in the summer and they look amazing.

I’ve had loads of people comment on how super they look.

BBC forecast heavy snow over Hull from 1-5am this morning yet we didn't get any.
I too was amazed at the news reports of treacherous conditions on the roads only to pan to a live reporter and clearly see behind them in most cases easily passable roads clear of snow or a maybe just a light dusting.
Get ready for flood alerts at the weekend when all these 19mm snowdrifts start to melt.
