Emma Chambers, who brilliantly played Alice Tinker in the Vicar of Dibley, has died at the age of 53. Very sad.

RIP Emma <rose>

Such a shame, as you say she was fantastic in the Vicar of Dibley. 53 is far too young.
Used to see her in town occasionally as she lived locally for a while and she was always very friendly towards fans.
RIP Emma.

Passwords

I managed to tip a glass of my favourite tipple into my laptop this week. Dried it out on the radiator overnight, but no, the keyboard would not work. Took the poor thing to the local laptop servicer who fitted a new keyboard for 25 quid! (this is Serbia and yes it's that cheap) They had it for 2 days. On the second day I realised that I had clicked "remember my password" on my bank account and credit card and paypal accounts. Panicked a bit, but no, my accounts haven't been cleared out. I'm still a millionaire! Scary though! I also read this week that 50% of people tend to have the same password for multiple applications. Where and how do you keep your passwords because we all probably have about 10 for various things? (and hiding them in a document called passwords is probably a bad idea!)

I use a password locker (LastPass) and randomized passwords for most applications. Because LastPass can/has been hacked, I have a series of really long passphrases for the important stuff like my bank and Paypal that are impossible to brute-force.

Was just doing my usual check of local venues to see if there are any bands that I want to see coming up, and noticed that Kylie is playing at the Bournemouth International Centre in September with VIP packages available. Don't know for sure as it's never brought up, but I have a feeling that one or two on here might be fans.

I am not a concert goer, however I did see Kylie at the O2 7/8 years back as my sister had a spare ticket.

How annoying.

I work form home, but occasionally have to go to one of our offices for meetings etc. Well being a homeworker means I never worry about accidents, weather etc (or even shaving most the week :) )- in fact they never cross my mind.

This afternoon I have to go to Sutton in Surrey for an all day meeting tomorrow..it's snowing already there and looks like it may get worse.

Annoying.
