    Next on my list :)

Being a geek I am now on watching 'Halt and catch fire' on Prime. Watched Salvation on Netflix - that was good too.

Watched Altered Carbon on Netflix, very sci-fi. Lots of potential but overall pretty good

Been in QA A&E with my 95 year old Mum since 7.30 this morning and all it’s done for me is to make me even more in awe of the staff in the NHS and the fabulous job they do! Wonderful nurses, doctors and ambulance guys. Thank you!

I had a policeman visit me at home today, he was carrying a piece of paper and a pencil. He asked me if I could help him trace someone.

So I went to the travel agents and asked about holidays abroad.
“So where in particular?”,asked the travel agent.
    “Majorca” I replied
“ Sorry, Sir, but it is Mayorca.....you see the J is silent ...when do you plan to go?”
“I was thinking Yune or Yuly!”

    Passwords

I managed to tip a glass of my favourite tipple into my laptop this week. Dried it out on the radiator overnight, but no, the keyboard would not work. Took the poor thing to the local laptop servicer who fitted a new keyboard for 25 quid! (this is Serbia and yes it's that cheap) They had it for 2 days. On the second day I realised that I had clicked "remember my password" on my bank account and credit card and paypal accounts. Panicked a bit, but no, my accounts haven't been cleared out. I'm still a millionaire! Scary though! I also read this week that 50% of people tend to have the same password for multiple applications. Where and how do you keep your passwords because we all probably have about 10 for various things? (and hiding them in a document called passwords is probably a bad idea!)

so I've just spent an hour changing my passwords, writing them on a piece of paper, putting them in a condom and swallowing them

I find it really difficult to remember passwords
All my important passwords, bank, credit card, Amazon etc are different to each other.
Haven’t got a clue what my password is for *not606, as I am always logged into it, likewise Facebook and various other things like GMail and Hotmail.
Have needed to renew them at various times simply because I have changed them to something so obscure (I once used “boxoftissues”) I have forgotten.

Had an issue once, when my Amazon account was hacked. It must have been by a kid as they only ordered fidgety spinners and, fortunately, failed to change the email address before ordering, so I received several emails confirming purchases.
Couldn’t sign in as they had changed the password, so I had to phone up and cancel the account, which was difficult as the information they requested no longer matched what they were looking at on their system.
They said they would message me with details of how to get back into my account, then sent the message to the account message centre that I couldn’t access, as I couldn’t get into the account. Doh!

    * how would we recover our not606 account if we couldn’t remember the sign in?

I still have a couple of hundred quid in an paypal account for a small business I started. Email address is now void and I can’t get at the money. Paypal weren’t very helpful last time I tried. May try again as it’s been about 4-5 years

A recent large DNA survey has shown that the people who built Stonehenge had virtually died out by the time our ancestors, the Beaker people, arrived from the Eastern European and Asian steppes. I find it very apt that we are descended from the Beaker people....bet the beakers were full of beer. :)

Two windmills are standing in a field and one asks the other,"What kind of music do you like?"
The other says,"I am a big metal fan."
