Checked out the last few pages of the thread as I've been working so all I got was the talksport updates and all I read is Millwall fans posting their club's results. Is there a Millwall board? I could not give a flying fk about Millwall. I don't give a toss whether they are above us or get relegated. I know I'm new but I just don't understand why they're on here. Why not wind Charlton, Palace or Orient fans up?
Just back from the game and the post match beers. Noticed during the prematch handshakes that Pontus hadn't shrunk after all and was actually the tallest player on the pitch. This filled me with some confidence as in the previous home matches against Millwall, Cardiff and Bristol City we were at a significant disadvantage aerially. Second observation was that PH was taking the pressure off Felix and the defence in general by refusing to try to play out from the back. It worked to an extent as we could push up and compress the play in an old school fashion. I'm sure we'll develop over time but this seemed a reasonable tactic given recent results and the lack of confidence amongst certain players. The more solid base however meant we were pretty one dimensional going forward. Fortunately we scored somewhat against the run of play which enabled us to go on and win the game. It's also worth noting that prior to our goal Felix made a world class save and PH realizing both of our left sided players were on yellows (Allioski and Anita) switched Dallas to the left to try to shore things up and reduce the possibility of a red card. In my opinion that's good coaching and I think PH has showed himself to be an astute and knowledgeable appointment. What was also pleasing to see was that Cooper and Felix both bounced back with top class performances. Cooper was more aggressive in his defending and Felix's starting position was more advanced. Best player on the pitch was Siaz...absolutely head and shoulders above any player from either side. That doesn't however make him man of the match as for him to play like that is easy given how talented he is. For me the MOTM was shared between Cooper, Beradi, Pontus, Allioski and Dallas as I think that emphasizes how much of a team effort todays victory was.
I met another regular poster from here a few weeks ago who couldn’t work you out either but said “I really hope he is a wum, because, if he is, he is brilliant” I agree.
I just had a look at the Millwall not606 and the last post on there was on Thursday so now it makes sense. They've got no one to talk to. I understand now but surely it would make more sense to post on their own board to attract some Millwall fans?
There are only 5 of them, Steve doesn't like Ringo, Mighty is simple, TC is repertitive and well then there is Brisbane-Lion !!!
Travelling so saw no footy today, but great result. Reading this thread though I picked up that Leeds were cr@p first half hour before the goal, so I'm surprised Glory didnt ejaculate prematurely again and start another anti-Radz thread before having to take it down.... Good to see old dogs can learn new tricks, apparently he was even positive enough to bet on the Leeds win. Think I might need to send him a tambourine in the post soon at this rate.. #happyclappy
It's quite frustrating as i want to read what real Leeds fans thought about the performance and I'm stuck wading through two pages of sh*t about an irrelevant team who just happen to be in the same division. At least in the end I got to see the LUTV interview. I couldn't tell you what it was allnabout, I just remember a couple of important points.
