    Our defence has a habit of switching off...

    HT 0-1. We aren't controlling the play, can't hold onto the ball in their half. Need Eze on to do that imo.

    Very entertaining half, but we are not defending as a unit. They have far too much time on the ball in our half. Still think that we can turn this around. What I think is obvious is that we cannot play this 3-5-2 (or whatever it is supposed to be) their goal was a perfect example of why.

    Pretty drab stuff not helped by an overly fussy referee and an opposition goalkeeper taking a minute to take every set piece even at 0-0.

    We’ve looked ok going forwards but neither wing-back looks capable of beating their man. Mostly relying on Freeman or Smyth to pull something out the bag. Big Smith desperately unlucky with the header bouncing on the line. The linesman on this side would need to see the ball hit the net to give something anyway.

    How many chances had big Smith had? I reckon he needs at least ten to score one.

    We have a massive problem in dealing with set pieces, no matter what formation we play with or against

    That was the only good one I recall. They’ve dealt with him quite well and Little Smyth looks the likelier to trouble them to me. The problem in that half was our midfield not getting close to Watson and Colback and neither full-back offering anything.

    Very nice goal there, nice finish from just outside the box. Way too much space for Tomlin to pick his spot.

    2nd goal scored on the counter attack.

    The more we attack, the more goals we seem to let in!

    I could basically write the same for the second goal as I did for the first;

    Break from our attacking free kick. We switched off, they scored.

    Three now.
