Today sees us take on Bolton Wanderers on the back of us snatching two last seconds equalisers and I’m sure the fans are hoping that the team spirit continues into today’s game and an early goal for us would help to get the crowd behind the team. As CS pointed out, Klose is an injury concern.
Sky Preview
Norwich forward Nelson Oliveira could be recalled to the starting XI for the Sky Bet Championship match against Bolton. The Portuguese frontman came off the bench to score a stunning 30-yard equaliser in stoppage time against leaders Wolves on Wednesday night to end his 11-match goal drought. Captain Ivo Pinto should be back in contention following a problem he sustained when getting out of his car.
Bolton must do without midfielder Karl Henry, who starts a two-match ban after collecting a 10th yellow card in the midweek win over struggling Sunderland. Full-back Mark Little is in the middle of a three-match suspension following his dismissal at QPR.
Midfielder Josh Vela suffered an ankle problem which caused him to sit out Tuesday night's game, and could be set for an extended spell out. Captain Darren Pratley is closing in on a return from a cracked fibula, while fellow midfielders Craig Noone (knee) and Will Buckley (hamstring) also continue their rehabilitation.
Opta Stats
Norwich have lost just one of their last 10 Championship outings (W5 D4), losing seven of their previous 10 before this run.
The Trotters have picked up just one win in their 16 away league games this season (D5 L10), losing each of the last three by a 0-2 scoreline.
Nelson Oliveira netted his first goal in 10 league appearances last time out. The Portuguese striker hasn't scored in successive league games since August.
After Gary Madine's departure in January, Sammy Ameobi is now the highest current goalscorer for Bolton this season with four league goals - he has only found the net once in his last 17 league games.
I'm VERY hopeful that we can get a win and score more than one goal to give the fans something to cheer about and turn the 2nd half dominance that we've shown in our last 3 games into goals. I'd love to see DF maybe try both Sir Benny and Basil on the pitch together for maybe the last 15 to 20 minutes.
