79% possesseion, 10 shots, 2 on target according to www.flashscores.co.uk When, rather than if, surely with stats like those?
Michael Bailey (45+2/2) | #NCFC 0-0 #BWFC | Hernandez excellent at getting his body in front of the ball - good strength. Just the pace of the game with the ball that needs the adapting to.
Will somebody please explain to me why we (1) cannot score more than one goal most of the time and (2) why are we so poor at home compared to away? Basil is back to his predictable self and even when a Norwich player is one on one he usually misses.
Urgh. Just still not learning how to win games. Outplayed Derby, Drew 1-1 Outplayed Ipswich enough second half, Drew 1-1 Outplayed Wolves, Drew 2-2 Outplayed Bolton, Drew 0-0. Depressing. Back below Ipswich we go.
Not even an added 7 minutes was enough time to find a late goal to get out of jail - pathetic - end of interest this season for NCFC fans can be declared today. Ipswich go above us once again with an impressive win at Preston
Yes it is frustrating to be sure. DF sent out a very attacking side which was excellent in the first half, but fell away badly in the second. 75 minutes for the first sub, Srbeny, still seems a bit late. Murphy had another poor match. Leitner looks to be a quality player but there hasn't been much to get excited about coming from either Hernandez or Srbeny. Certainly we can forget about the play-offs now and concentrate on developing the squad for next season.
Is it that we have a team of modest talent, bar Maddison, who work hard and achieve modest results? The correlation between teams who have spent on talent and achieve the better results is high, but not a perfect 1. Next season looks to be worse than this in terms of finance so selling Maddison looks odds on. Ok folks, that’s it for this season so back to the drawing board..............
The only thing I can predict is that the sun will rise tomorrow. I had 2 - 0 win based on the fact that Bolton are low down in the league etc. Farke got sent off as he kicked the ball away in a show of frustration. Clearly this unpredictable form at home is getting to him as well as the fans. There doesn’t appear to be an answer.
And our next two opponents Barnsley and Florist prepared nicely by scoring two and five respectively Sounds like firing continual blanks won't do us a great deal of good in the games against them!
FFS, another predictable home failure, What ever good Farke has done this sort of abject failure continues to blight his reign and crush my faith in him as a manager Bah!
