In a bit of an upset, London Spitfire not only qualified for the knockout stages of the Overwatch League Stage One, they won the bloody thing too.

Trust me, if this was South Korea, this would be getting more coverage than the Winter Olympics and its Lovecraftian opening titles...

Beaten by New Zealand in the T20 tournament.
NZ have a strong power hitting side.
England's batting seems to stop at 5 with no Bairstow, Root, Morgan and Stokes missing.
Billings isn't good enough.
Willey is too high at 7. He should either open like he does in domestic cricket with licence to thrash everything or be coming in at 9 with a dozen or so balls left to hit. He can't rebuild an innings at, say, 110-5 with 7 or 8 overs left.

The Aussies have just chased down 244 to beat NZ in the T20.
32 sixes in the match!!!
England now need to beat NZ convincingly on Sunday to make the final.
Don't fancy our chances (see post above)

England beat NZ in the T20 but miss out on a final place on net run rate.
Rashid bowled well and a nice innings from Morgan.
But the strength of this team is big runs up front - and they just didn't produce them at any stage in the competition.

Watching the bobsleigh, it seemed harsh the way the commentators always focused on how amazing the “pilot” of the team is. But when I paid more attention to the man at the back of the sleigh I realised that all he has to do for a potential Olympic medal is push it a bit, and then go for a kip in the back.

FOR AN OLYMPIC MEDAL!!! <laugh>

Twitter is erupting with conspiracy theories from people who know **** all about speed skating, but because Elise Christie has a union flag on her onesie it means the judges were against her from the start because they're jealous...or...something.

Definitely not because she kept crashing people off the course - but on the plus side, she hasn't taken to Twitter to racially abuse her fellow competitors like she did in Sochi.
