"Who mentioned being distressed ? I've paid for one of my family to be over there ..."

Memo to self:

By “ex pats” do you mean immigrants who emigrated from over here?

Ex pats, from expatriate, used to refer to people residing elsewhere temporarily or permanently, whereas an immigrant referred to people who had settled there permanently. Not to be confused with illegal immigrants of course as these were there legally.

FC crowds are fairly consistent, they used to get about 12K at Boulevard, 12K at the KC and 12K in Oz but when they play at Wembley it's the old last one out turn off the lights bullshit.

Last season before the move to the KC they averaged 8,000, which is what they paid to the SMC was based on.

To sum up this thread
Some Hull City supporters also support Hull FC & Hull KR.
Some old Hull City supporters remember when Hull FC supporters with type 2 diabetes would gloat when Hull City lost.
Rugby League is minority sport that nobody outside of Hull , Leeds & Wigan like.
Rugby Union at club level is ****e but strong internationally
And the the World is Round.

Some would disagree with the last sentence.<laugh>

As for club level, union has only been professional forvavrelatively short time but the best supported rugby club of either code is Leicester and the average Aviva Premiership crowd is higher than the Super League one.

Nothing else to do in Leicester :azn:

The usual response when somewhere gets better crowds than in Hull.<laugh> So much kore to do in Hull obviously. Leicester's crowds for football and rugby are very good when you consider what a high proportion of the population of Leicester are from cultures where football and rugby don't figure highly.
Having said, that Leicester is a dump.

It was a joke I acknowledge the good support they get.
Hull is a small City I don't expect Hull & Hull KR to get huge crowds
Stop taking everything literally your so argumentative..
In truth I like international rugby Union as a spectical especially when the AB's are playing and I wish England well.

True enough.

Was in a pub before we played a game at Filbert Street. Anyways, this old bloke told me that Leicester folk call a back passage an 'entry' would you believe..makes me chuckle to this day that one. Ian McKecknie God rest his soul had a blinder that day btw.

Was that the 0-0 draw when we had about 150 there the season they brought about 3,000 here earlier on?

Hull isn't that small. Larger than Derby and Southampton. Admittedly they don't have rugby clubs.
Leicester is unusual that though the city population is larger than Hull's the urban population is 60,000 less than Hull's 570,000. Can't think off hand of anywhere else where that is the case though there possibly are.

It was a typo, it should have read, 'I've paid for one of my family to go over the road and watch it in the pub' Which is West Bulls.
Sorry for any misunderstandings, ps when is Brum away ?
Not March 24th is it ?

March 17th. International break the following weekend.
West Bulls prices eh, ergo charge even more for Brum!
