It's Thursday now and with no new signings, are we going to be served the same old crap as we did last week?

I'd go with:
Basso
Dudgeon Hobbs Chester Roesnior
Brady Evans McKenna Koren
Fryatt Mclean

Cairney may have played a few frustrating sideways passes but he's a right side better than Evans.

Basso
Rosenior Hobbs Chester Dudgeon
Koren Cairney McKenna Brady
Fryatt Simpson

Subs: Gulacsi, Dawson, Evans, Pusic, McLean

Same old **** I know, but with the right policy I think this team can succeed, if NP plays and I quote 'More directly'

Basso
Rosenior Hobbs Chester Dudgeon
Brady Evans Cairney Koren
Fryatt Mclean

Subs: Gulacsi, Bradley, Devitt, Pusic, Simpson

I wouldn't go with Cairney and Evans in the middle. I'd stick with McKenna and have Cairney in there with him. I agree with having McLean in the starting 11 as hopefully he can start adding some end product to his effort. We definitely need to sign a few more players though; a goalie, defender and striker (someone in the mould of Jon Parkin - not literally of course!)

To be honest I thought McKenna and Evans were equally useless at weekend and was a flip of a coin choosing tone to partner Cairney, If I was to put McKenna in their i would replace Bradley on the bench for Evans as he can cover CB too. Wouldn't have minded Barmby on the bench but ran out of room for him

I dont think Brady has the vision or experience to play behind the front 2 I wouldnt mind him up front though similar to when Stewart played there.

Been reading through a lot of tigerman11145 posts, he quite clearly knows nothing about football in general and clearly likes to bash Cairney.

Cairney has been our best player so far this season, in the pre-season and now. He MUST play every game, you cannot even compare him against the likes of Evans, in fact they both completely different types of midfielders, in fact I dont know what Evans is at the moment actually.

Cairney hasn't been the best player this season, Brady, Rosenior and Dudgeon have all been better than him. He musn't play every week, he's too slow, can't tackle and can only pass sideways.

Your a nugget and know nowt !!!

How can you compare the players you name with Cairney you fool, Brady is a winger, Rosenior and Dudgeon are defenders. Cairney is not in the team because of his pace nor tackling attributes, he's a creative midfielder. He may pass side ways at times but he never loses the ball nor gives away possession easily. He is a very clever intelligent player. tigerman11145 go away and learn the game you idiot !!!

Mark my words, Cairney will win this years player of the season award.
