Has anyone been watching? I’ve enjoyed the first day of action. Is weird how a sport one has never paid any attention to previously suddenly becomes the most important thing in the world.

Although snowboarding is clearly just twats showing off.

WTAF ?!?!
Snowboarders are cool...and you know it
You’re just jealous of us

Jamie Nicholls was ripped off. Dreadful scoring from the judges

...and yes. I’m watching the speed skating right now

Jealous of what - downhill figure skating?

They kept saying he was robbed but would they be saying it if he wasn’t British? I liked Staale Sandbech, but they are all clearly massive bellends.

That photo finish in the speed skating was mental.

Downhill figure skating <laugh> I like that!

Tournament scoring for snowboarding is all about precision so doesn’t really encourage flair to be honest
It’s all about the number of spins etc on a jump when the rails are sometimes more technical

You’re right the photo finish was mad

Come on, the most excited the commentators got was when one “went up and over the goalposts”. It’s clearly showing off to impress girls

Just watching the chaps sledging at present. Might fancy a go at that, had a bit of experience back in the day on snow covered Beverley Westwood.

Just wonder if anyone can help me with a point of etiquette? How do you 'dress'? You know, 'dress' .....

Is it tucked into a box, left leg, right leg, underneath or perhaps more 'stiffer' and up front? Would that affect aero dynamics and shave a few hundredths off my time?

Any sensible comments would be much appreciated. I thank you in advance.

I enjoy the sledging, they’re miles better at it than the Aussie cricketers.

That blade in the face of the speed skating final could’ve been nasty.

It’s rough, it’s tough, it’s Winter Olympics.
