The last paragraph is surely a lie? (yeah I know...)
It isn’t ok to use Hull City at present according to his own guidelines

    Anyway a few thoughts

    1. If he hasn’t figured out how to stop ticket ‘abuse’ then he can’t have found a spare 5 minutes to think about it. It’s simple and a number of options have been discussed on here previously
    2. I’ve never had a massive issue with not using AFC myself, although he comes across pathetic having that as a condition because they’re are a few times it is appropriate
    3. Was the Club registered as Hull City. only?
    4. The branding thing just needs a few extra guidelines onto the ones already suggested by the Trust. Easy

If the AFC was an integral part then the quiz question was wrong all along, you can colour in the A.

I believe that technically the Club was formed and played friendly games before it joined the association. The club was called Hull City Football Club and once it joined the FA it could call itself Hull City Association Football Club.

How hard is it to understand Hull City is our name Tigers is our nick name. What a bloody idiot. The main question is what are his 2 conditions. Will they be impossible for the rest of us mere mortals to adhere to.

If only there were 91 other league clubs that somehow manage to crack this particularly tricky code who we could take our lead from...

If this statement had been released in 2013, imagine the pain that everyone would have saved themselves. The AFC thing isn't particularly important to me. Given the choice I'd include it in official stuff as it has an interesting/important history in the club's formation regarding the challenges it faced from the rugby clubs. But if not using it means that we get Hull City on everything, I'd happily take that. I would have taken it all along. I don't think many people at all would have gone to war over a three-digit abbreviation.

As far as I understand it, the HCST devised this particular Hall of Fame and brought it to the club as the Hull City Hall of Fame. The club accepted this and then released a load of stuff referring to it as the Tigers Hall of Fame, knowing full well that the fans were angered over the club's continual refusal to use Hull City over the previous five or so years. An official Hall of Fame is EXACTLY the type of thing that should have the club's official name on it. If there are people at the club that can't see this, then I'm at a bit of a loss to be honest.

That said, this seems like a move in the right direction. I think for a lot of people, their unbridled love for Hull City can only be rekindled as and when the Allams leave. And we've hear the words before, only for the actions not to be forthcoming. But if the above is delivered upon then that will undoubtedly be a good thing.

What would be the sense to that if they were going to hang around anyway? Bank less money sooner, pay loan interest for impatience. I can't think what else they'd have done with it but it seems illogical to me.

He's toying with you again, how can you put into words that he and his staff can follow when and where to use Hull City or the Tigers? all it needs is a common sense approach but that's the big problem.
The best I can think of is for every use of The Tigers there should be 5 Hull City. As was said a little earlier the Hall of Fame was an ideal opportunity to make a change. It's going to be another come back to the next meeting with some proposals.

I was just thinking precisely this. What an absolute ****ing waste of time and effort this has been, in the process completely ruining the best chance to establish the club as something relatively successful that we’ve ever had in our history, the kind of chance we are unlikely to ever see again.

    What an absolute crying shame.

But he wasn't just changing the name from Hull City AFC to Hull City. They wanted Hull Tigers. He's playing with the fans again.

So it was in existence for only one year before it was called AFC. But that is enough for an Allam to indulge in some ****wittery.

He basically wants to claim we didn’t win in entirety so he’s setting a condition.
