The BBC Sport website has a picture of Van Dijk, to introduce their coverage of Liverpool v Spurs. The combination of Virgil's goatee beard, his dodgy choice of hairstyle (is it a perm? one for Fran) and his red top makes him look like a Star Trek actor. Probably the one who appears at the start of an episode, gets killed by a Klingon (or a Romulan, I'm not fussy), then is never mentioned again. (It's life, Jim, but not as we know it) 
Palace-Newcastle 1-1 draw. Probably the best result for us....as far as we know of course.
A mass brawl would be good this afternoon, with Mane, Virgil Van Lovren and Salah getting reds for violent conduct. A few injuries here and there would help too.
Oh I want VVD and Lovren to play next week. I love a pantomime villain, and it’ll make the crowd noisy.
Mané is a bit rubbish at the moment too.
But you know he'd find form next week, the curse of the ex player scoring against you and all that superstitious nonsense. I want Lovren to play, just not the other ****er. I might have confused the issue by calling him Virgil Van Lovren, which is childish I know, but it makes me smile
Need Liverpool to win today so that they totally f!ck up next week.

It was rumoured to be Man City for Bertrand. Not sure if they'd still be in for him by summer.
Think Beef said Bertrand is guaranteed to go in the summer, it’s why he is knuckling down and not kicking up a fuss.
