If someone offered me the wage I earn now to just stand around looking pretty and I am pretty, then I'm doing that other than working for a living.

Caught a bit of a discussion on TV this morning, it was on in the restaurant at work.
A "pit girl" was trying to explain to a feminist that she knew exactly what she was doing, wasn't being exploited, didn't see it as demeaning, enjoyed her job and made £60k a year doing it. None of that mattered to the feminist, she just wouldn't accept that some women enjoyed this type of work. Mind you, the feminist was a munter

Mrs J loves watching the Tour de France , amongst other Cycle races .

She said she thinks they will get rid of those girls , BUT apparently , they are part of the whole thing .

It's all stupid .

Not only do they not cause anyone any harm , I would imagine they like it .

I don't really get the objection, to be honest. They just put a bunch of people out of work for no reason.
If it's about equality, then throw some blokes in there too, to give those who prefer men something to look at.
It's just promo work and a bit of flair for boring parts of F1 and the darts.

It is just one of many promo jobs they do throughout the year because they don’t do every race. I’m not bothered if they are there or not but don’t bang on about them being thrown out of work.
